Yacutinga Experience (2 nights)
If you are planning to visit us, we recommend staying with us for at least 2 nights. It is very easy to combine Yacutinga Experience with the traditional visit to the Iguazú Falls. The result will be an itinerary of high touristic content to enjoy the Misiones Forest.
Yacutinga Experience is the basic itinerary offered at Yacutinga Lodge. Guests may stay with us for more days. If the traveler has a specific interest, he/she may choose the following options specially designed for this purpose.
Yacutinga Experience
2 nights
Day 1 – Raices Argentinas / Yacutinga Lodge
2:30 p.m Departure from Puerto Iguazu- Raices Argentinas through the Iguazu National Park. The landscape is very picturesque, characterized by its reddish soil, the various shades of greens, the colonist and their Yerba Mate farms.
Arrival at the Lodge, welcome and room distribution. Presentation about the activities and introductory explanation about the environmental problematic of the rainforest and the actions we are undertaking to achieve its conservation.
Arrival at the Lodge, reception, room distribution. Dinner.
Day 2: Yacutinga Lodge
Early in the morning paddling along the San Francisco stream, which flows into the Natural Reserve. This is the right moment for a photo-safari and general fauna observation. The silent navigation through the Gallery forest lasts almost 3 hours. Back to the Lodge at mid-morning. Lunch.
Time “off” to enjoy the facilities of the Lodge (swimming pool, orchid trail, hummingbird project, etc.).
Interpretative walks in the afternoon, conducted by expert guides who provide good information on the several natural environments, its flora and fauna.
Back to the Lodge. Dinner and nocturnal activity.
Day 3: Yacutinga Lodge / Raices Argentinas
Breakfast and free time to enjoy the Lodge area.
Brunch at the Lodge and return to Puerto Iguazú at mid-morning. Arrival estimated at 1:00 p.m.

Yucatinga Lodge is an amazing experience. I would return in a heartbeat just to hang out in the garden and watch the hummingbirds and to hang out in the dining room with the terrific food and views of the trogans and other birds. This is very special place and well worth the effort to go there.
